Mia is a rescue from Romania. We found her through a local charity called No Boundaries Dogs For Adoption, run in Guildford by a lovely lady, Tracey Hussey.
Mia’s a small dog with a giant personality. She will happily have play fights with our German Shepherd X, Jessie and will usually win by hanging onto Jessie’s lip until she gives up! It’s all fun and games to them and ever since we adopted her in 2017 they have been the best of friends.
For a previously stray dog she has settled into our home extremely well and is usually the last one to wake up in the morning. She eventually crawls out from under the duvet and wanders down the stairs for her breakfast, but she is certainly not an early riser!
Mia is a very friendly dog but she likes to say hello by barking her head off which some dogs are intimidated by. Once she stops barking she makes friends, but she’ll always be Queen Bee.
